First of all, let me introduce myself…
My name is Harry and I help brides get rock solid confidence to walk down the aisle on their wedding day.
I work with brides who struggle with their confidence and self worth, plus who feel they want to get more toned, fitter and stronger before their wedding day.
I run a 12-week online body transformation program called Shredding For My Wedding, where I give brides the clarity and certainty in the plan they are following to help them live out their dream wedding with the confidence and happiness that they deserve.
I work with the 3 pillars of food, movement and mindset, working to reduce the need for willpower and fad diets to get you the best possible results.
People often say to me “Isn’t it wrong to focus on body image, especially when it’s just for one day of a woman’s life”…
So Let’s talk about health 💗
We know that 1 in 6 women are either overweight or obese (the US has a little bit more).
We know that’s an issue, and I don’t need to stress the health problems it can lead to…
- Heart Disease.
…all leading to a terrible quality of life and early death.
Not nice, but it’s reality. 😟
And the SHOCKING thing is that it’s ~60% of women that fall into this risk. 😱😱😱
Now, what makes someone decide they want to make a change?
The answer is that it’s different for everyone.
Sometimes it takes a small realisation like catching a glimpse of yourself in the mirror…
Sometimes, a word of caution from your doctor.
For some, it’s actually getting one of these diseases (sad I know).
The great thing about a wedding is that when you get engaged it gives you instant motivation to want to make changes.
Some might say that it’s the wrong reasons…
“You shouldn’t care about how you look…it’s who you are on the inside”.
Well, if you’re insides are gunked up with artery plaque and risking your future health, happiness and lifespan to see your children grow up, then I say it’s a pretty GOOD reason to take the motivation and f****** use it while you have it ‼️‼️‼️
Let’s do the numbers…
In the UK, there are around 240,000 marriages per year, and in the US, 2.4 million.
At 60% overweight and obesity, that means 1.5 million women suddenly give themselves a reason to want to lose weight.
That’s a pretty positive thing in my opinion. ✔️✔️✔️✔️
And let’s address the second issue.
Motivation after the wedding often goes away.
This is definitely an issue.
BUT it’s determined by the way you go about your transformation.
If you force yourself onto an arduous eating plan that you hate, cuts out all your favourite foods, plus increases your stress before your wedding day, no wonder you’re gonna lose motivation after your wedding is over.
THAT’s why on the Shredding For My Wedding program we make sure this doesn’t happen. ✔️✔️
The FIRST part of the program involves delving into your WHY.
We build your motivation and then create your plan and LIFESTYLE change around that.
We want it to be as easy as possible and something you WANT to continue after your wedding day.
We want you to recognise the benefits you gained from your transformation, and we want you to maintain these to benefit a happy, disease-free life where you can bring up a family and see the small investment you made in yourself before your wedding really pay off.
So that’s what drives me…
Let’s say that I take advantage of the fact that you want to lose weight for your wedding and help you get much, much more out of the process.
